A new year, a new introduction.

I am quite aware I'm behind on this introduction, but shit, have I been feeling like a rock hit my bare heart lately.

Huzzah. A new Blackboxx Texts—well, more like the return of the BBTxx, as I had it offline for about two years there. I don't quite remember when I did that, but it seems like it came at a good time since I went to the hospital this and last year. Go figure. Life is good.

I'm adding a few miscellaneous things to the BBTxx's topics of focus aside from just...things that piss me off. 

I shall explain.

'Lo. My name is Mar. I am a transmasculine man in the process of going through a medical transition. I am currently 31 years old, severely neurotic, clinically depressed and diagnosed with major depressive disorder and suicidal ideation—did I mention I went to the hospital this year for my suicidal desires?

Be happy I'm alive. Or something. Whatever.

I call myself a weaver of words and worlds, a weird wonderer looking at the world in black-tinted glasses, and a devious soul to the near-exact definition of the word by social standards. I am also an absolute pile of stinking, ripe shite but we'll see where that gets me now that I'm in my 30s...

Brief FAQ

• What's with the new name?

O'Quine is a shortened version of my previous moniker, Mareoquine. As I once said in my last introduction, the -quine suffix, commonly seen at the end of drug names, is from my acceptance that my attachment and interest in "dark stuff" is kinda addictive. It is also sinful, according to what I've been raised to believe. However, it is also a nod to my love of Halloween. If you know, you know, y'know?

• What new topics are you going to cover?

I'm glad you asked. It means you're paying attention. 

Aside from things that piss me off in this...wonderful...21st Century, I'll also cover some fandom-related things that I really need to get off my chest. Starting with...the new One Piece live-action TV series.
